PXE International strives to provide the most up-to-date information about the disorder and the research being conducted around the world. Since many medical websites provide faulty or even completely wrong information about diseases and treatments, it is important for this site to constantly be updated, as we grow more aware of the true causes and symptoms of PXE. If you have found information on another website that you do not know to be reliable, please ask us before taking action.

The other issue with misinformation we regularly face is that most primary care physicians as well as specialized doctors do not know what PXE is, or if they do, do not have the correct, up-to-date information. PXE International provides medical bulletins to help you educate your doctor.
