Kate develops and conducts workshops specifically designed for visually impaired and blind job seekers in the Northern California Greater Bay Area. In addition, she is a Career Development Specialist for the California Department of Rehabilitation.

She brings more than twenty years of Human Resources experience to her present role. Kate served in a Generalist capacity for ten years with a leading international pharmaceutical company, recruiting national field sales forces, marketing professionals and PhD Scientists. Kate received special commendation for the recruitment and retention of minority employees.

Upon losing her vision, Kate made a conscious decision to relocate to a metropolitan area that offered superior public transportation. She worked in the Corporate sector for thirteen years as an Executive Recruiter. She was employed by an agency serving leading Corporations and a cross-section of industries. She is recognized as a leading career coach and motivator.

Kate's true passion is to assist visually impaired and blind individuals to realize their potential and provide them with superior job seeking techniques, enabling them to acquire employment.

Kate serves on the Board of the San Francisco Chapter of NCHRA (Northern California Human Resources Association), and is a member of NCDA (National Career Development Association).
