After graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science, Dr. Andrea Yancey obtained her Doctorate of Medicine at the University of Tennessee, College of Medicine, Memphis. She then completed her General Surgery Residency Program at the University of Tennessee, College of Medicine at Chattanooga followed by a Vascular and Endovascular Surgery Fellowship at the University of Kentucky. She is board certified in General and Vascular Surgery. She is currently an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Louisville as well as a practicing Vascular Surgeon at the Robley Rex VA Medical Center, Norton and Jewish Hospitals.
Her interest in PXE involves educating PXE patients to the signs and symptoms of its vascular manifestations as well as creating awareness in the vascular community.
