Kim Douglas is a PXEer with a bright idea on how to raise awareness about pseudoxanthoma elasticum (PXE). After hearing one too many uninformed comments about her eyesight, Kim resolved to design and print cards, a copy of which is shown on the left, that provide basic information on PXE and a reference to the PXE International webpage. Kim's unique cards are multifunctional, because they serve as a designated response to misinformed comments, and also help educate and spread the word about PXE. Thank you Kim for your efforts to spread awareness of PXE, and for sharing this clever idea with other PXEers. Keep up the good work Kim!
