When you register with PXE International, you are added to our database of affected individuals. Your contact information will never be shared with anyone unless you give us permission to do so in your registration, and then it will only be shared with affected individuals who are interested in connecting with other affected individuals.
Upon registration, you also have the opportunity to sign up for other avenues for receiving PXE-related information.
- The MemberGram, the newsletter of PXE International, is packed with the latest information in PXE research, fundraising, legislation and news from around the world.
- On the PXE Announcements list, PXE International staff post announcements of upcoming PXE events, important activities and breakthroughs.
- PXE Medical list is a moderated list for serious discussion of PXE issues. This list is akin to attending a medical meeting with microphones placed around the room.
- The PXE Chat list is open to anyone who is looking for an online community of support - with wide-ranging, and not necessarily PXE, topics.
Registration also entitles you to receive doctor referrals and connect with individuals affected by PXE.
