Health Challenge




 

Join PXE International for our 2012 Health Challenge event. Work with us throughout the year in the pursuit of a healthier lifestyle and fill out the participation forms for each month to let us know how you're doing! Keep up with the monthly updates, goals, and videos, and you can join our facebook group and add yourself to the Health Challenge Event! for even more support and involvement. Whoever comes in first at the end of the year will win $1,000! It's never too late to start, and we encourage you to work on the goals and fill out the forms for months you may have missed.

  • May - Find your motivation!
  • Welcome to May!

    Personal Goal: Think about what motivates you. How do you get those work out shoes on? How do you encourage yourself to make healthy decisions about food and exercise? It's important to know what gets you up and out of the house so that on days when it seems way too hard you can call on those motivators to keep you going. Share what you've learned about yourself and your motivations with our Facebook event or on the Chat list!

    Community Goal: Discuss your motivations with your support system. Tell them how much of a help they are when things aren't going your way. Maybe they have some tips. Share your tips with them. Communicating with your team is a great way to make sure they know how appreciated they are and to keep everyone going.

     
  • April - Get active!
  • Welcome to April!

    Personal Goal: Work out every day! Be mindful of your limits but try to push yourself. It doesn't have to be formal or expensive, a little extra physical activity every day will go a long way towards establishing a healthy lifestyle. Look into bodyweight exercises for great ideas that don't require any equipment!

    Community Goal: Find someone to work out with! At least once a week find someone that will get active with you, to do anything from structured workouts to simply taking a walk together.
