Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, Julia attended a work-study program at Warren Wilson College in Swannanoa, North Carolina for 2 years. Julia then launched a lifelong journey of on-the-job learning experiences that included outdoor education, resume writing, bookkeeping, retail services, and nonprofit management. Julia is completely passionate about the beauty of nature, well-written books and the gift of each new day.
